12) PJ Fuller, SG, TCU

The Horned Frogs have been a quality defensive team since Jamie Dixon took over the program, but their offense has been lackluster whenever starting point guard Jaylen Fisher was unable to play.

That problem sunk TCU’s hopes of a tournament run two years ago and relegated them to the NIT last year. And, with Fisher transferring out of the program, they are in need of an influx of offense.

Enter Fuller, a four-star guard who is wired to score. As a 6-4 off guard, Fuller is very quick and is excellent at getting to the basket. He’s also a streaky shooter but can fill it up with the best of them whenever he gets hot from the perimeter.

There are questions about Fuller’s game – namely his inconsistent defense and tendencies to turn the ball over and take some bad shots – yet those things are what Dixon is known for. With quality coaching in those areas, Fuller should become a better all-around player.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking he won’t be a scorer first, though. He’s an uber-confident and productive offensive player, and TCU will need him to be if they’re going to get back to the Big Dance.
