25) Justin McKoy, SF, Virginia

McKoy originally committed to Penn State but became a highly sought-after recruit during his breakout senior season, and now he’ll be suiting up for Tony Bennett and the defending national champions.

Virginia has a number of holes they have in their rotation given the departures of stars De’Andre Hunter, Kyle Guy, and Ty Jerome. McKoy (likely) won’t crack the starting lineup but, given their lack of depth and McKoy’s versatile skill set, he should see good minutes off the bench for the Cavaliers.

At 6-8 and 225 pounds, his physical gifts make him a matchup problem despite him being an average athlete at the ACC level. He has guard-like ball-handling and passing abilities along with an elite shooting stroke with range that already extends beyond the NBA three-point line.

McKoy also fits the mold of the Virginia program with his high basketball IQ and defensive upside. Because he can play anywhere from the two to the four (and potentially even point guard in certain situations), he has the kind of versatility that increases his value. UVA also doesn’t have many great shooters on their current roster, which will also increase McKoy’s playing time and effectiveness.
