Weaknesses

Keldon Johnson is still developing consistency as a shooter. While he did shoot 38.1 percent from behind the arc during the regular season, his numbers from behind the arc dropped in conference play to 32.7 percent and he made less than one 3-pointer per game (0.9).

Johnson still managed to put up 11.8 points per contest, but his numbers in SEC play are hard to ignore when looking at his potential at the next level. With a 3-point line at a further distance and a shorter shot clock to score against, it will be interesting to see how Johnson’s game adjust.

He also needs to prove himself on the defensive end a bit more. He posted a defensive rating of 98.3 while he was a member of the Kentucky Wildcats but the NBA is a different beast entirely. He’s proven himself on the offensive end for the most part. His performance on defense is what will set him apart.
