NBA Comparisons

Trevor Ariza/Eric Gordon

Keldon Johnson has all the makings of a versatile role player that can play the wing and in some cases, on the interior. On offense, there are shades of a young Eric Gordon in his game. When thinking of his impact right away, he’s certainly got Sixth Man potential right away if he’s put into the right situation.

He’s got an NBA-ready body for a player of his size and has shown the ability to get to the rim with relative ease. With his wingspan, he’s got the ability to guard multiple positions on the floor, much like veteran forward Trevor Ariza.

Ariza has had a bit of a journeyman’s career these past few seasons, but he’s still managed to remain a plug-and-play starter no matter where he goes. Johnson has similar talents in his wheelhouse.
