Draft Stock

Right now, Keldon Johnson’s stock in the draft is at an interesting place. He hasn’t created much buzz these past few weeks but he also hasn’t done much to really hurt his stock.

The 2019 NBA Draft class is pretty much one of those that could go either way after the No. 1 pick, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The projectability of draft prospects has become harder and harder to predict and for the most part, it’s about fit for most players.

When looking at this year’s prospects with lottery pick potential, Johnson is certainly one of the standouts with his ability to score anywhere on the floor and ability to crash the glass.

He still needs to prove he can hang with professionals in the athleticism department but given some of the things he accomplished this past season at Kentucky, he should find a solid landing spot in the NBA.
