Draft Stock

Romeo Langford was once considered by many as a top selection in the 2019 NBA Draft. After a confusing freshman season filled with mixed results, his stock has certainly dropped. With that being said, Romeo should not have any worries about falling out of the first round.

He still managed to land a spot on the All-Big Ten Second Team this past season in a deep, competitive year for the conference. His prototypical size combined with his borderline elite ability to score at the rim will be too difficult to pass on when selecting in the twenties. The potential of his game opening up completely (if he finds his jumper) might convince teams to take a flier on him even earlier.

A safe projection for Romeo Langford is likely somewhere within the 15-20 range. Whoever does pull the trigger on the Indiana native will be getting a player that should find success on both ends of the floor, while also getting a player with a ton of room to grow and develop.
