Christian Braun – Overland Park, KS

SF | 6-foot-5 | 175 lbs | No. 124 overall

Another strong perimeter threat, Christian Braun has the potential to be a contributor right away due to his ability to knock down 3-pointers. At 6-foot-5 with a quick trigger from distance, he is able to get his shots off with consistency and also uses his athleticism well as a driver. Braun has the ability to take his defenders off the dribble and can finish through traffic and above the rim when necessary. Due to this versatility as an offensive threat, it is easy to see the potential with his game.

On the defensive end of the floor, Braun uses his athleticism and size well to stay in front of most players. He is not an opportunistic defender that will create a lot of steals or block shots, but he positions himself well and is a smart team defender. Braun is the type of player that will make his team better when on the court. His ability to space the floor offensively and not make too many mistakes defensively makes him a great piece even if he is not the star at the college level.

During his senior high school season, Braun was absolutely tremendous. While averaging 27.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game, he helped guide his team to a 27-2 record and the Class 6A state championship in Kansas. As a result, he was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in the state.
