14. Omar Payne, Florida Gators

Omar Payne is a 6-foot-9, 215-pound big man with a bright future for the Florida Gators. He chose the Gators over the Florida State Seminoles, showing just how coveted he was to teams in other leagues.

Payne is a dunking machine on offense with an emerging jump shot inside the arc. He’s got nice hands in the post and all the athleticism in the world to become a top-notch shot-blocker at the next level.

He brings back flashes of Patric Young, if Gators fans remember him. He was a player that finished his college career as one of the more decorated defenders in the paint. Payne has the potential to emerge as much as Young did and then some with the frontcourt wide open. He’s got great length and runs the floor well for a player of his size. Look for him to be one of a few Florida players to make noise in 2019-20.
