Picks No. 11-15

11) Chicago Bulls – Jaden McDaniels, SF/PF, Washington

McDaniels is just under seven-feet tall and has guard-like athleticism and ball-handling abilities, giving him a ton of potential. Those physical tools make him a good defender and rebounder, and he knows how to use his length and handle to get to and finish around the rim. He’s shown to be a good shooter as well but can be a bit streaky. The biggest question with him is his strength – McDaniels weighs less than 200 pounds and has a very skinny frame. His durability and lack of strength will be the only concerns he has to answer.

12) Sacramento Kings – Tyrese Maxey, PG/SG, Kentucky

Maxey is smaller for a combo guard at 6-3 and 185 pounds but is a bona fide scorer. He’s quick and knows how to finish around the rim to go along with a consistent jumper with range out to the NBA three-point line. The biggest question is his viability as a point guard. Like former Kentucky combo guard Malik Monk, Maxey is a scorer first and doesn’t always look to be a playmaker. Still, his defensive upside and scoring ability make him a lottery pick.

13) New Orleans Pelicans – Bryan Antoine, SG, Villanova

Antoine is expected to be primary “3-and-D” defender in the 2020 draft class. He is one of the better outside shooters in the class and has the quickness and dedication that makes him a reliable defender. He has average height at 6-5 and needs to add weight and strength to his frame but would have a very clear immediate role for any team.

14) Utah Jazz – Precious Achiuwa, SF/PF, Memphis

Achiuwa is a rare athlete and has fantastic versatility as a quick 6-9, 215-pound combo forward. He has all the physical tools of a star but is inconsistent due to a skill set that is still raw and developing. Achiuwa has great upside as a defender and finisher and, if he continues to add strength, could be the ideal small ball four. This pick will be more about potential and production, but Achiuwa oozes with star potential.

15) San Antonio Spurs – Isaiah Stewart, C, Washington

San Antonio is in the process of retooling their frontcourt and Stewart is the kind of high-motor player that’s easy to put on the court because of his energy and domination around the rim. Rebounding his is best skill at this stage and is still developing consistency on both ends of the floor. If he proves he can be a reliable rim protector at Washington, he could be a lottery pick.
