Precious Achiuwa – Montverde, FL

SF | 6-foot-9 | 215 lbs | No. 14 overall

Precious Achiuwa has the potential to be Memphis’ best player during this coming season. Ranked at No. 14 in the class, he is ridiculously athlete and also boasts plenty of size at 6-foot-9 with a chiseled frame. Achiuwa finishes tremendously well at the rim while also showcasing the ability to defend multiple positions. There are some concerns regarding his consistency as a scorer but that should only improve as he continues to develop his perimeter game.

On the offensive end of the floor, Achiuwa is mainly a driver at this point in time. He is excellent in the fastbreak due to his ability to run the floor and finish above the rim. He also boasts a relatively nice handle that allows him to get to the basket. With his size, strength, and athleticism, Achiuwa represents a potential matchup nightmare for many opponents at the next level.

Achiuwa projects as a major contributor in the frontcourt next season. His positional versatility (2-through-4) will be valuable for Coach Hardaway but he will likely spend most of his minutes playing alongside the next player on this list in the frontcourt. With that duo on the court, it will be very difficult to match up with the size and physicality of the Tigers during this coming campaign.
