NCAA Basketball Recruiting: USC and Cal join in on 5-star Moses Moody
Khalen Robinson also picks up three offers
2020 recruit KK Robinson picked up three offers in less than 24 hours, according to Richard Davenport of Whole Hogs Sports. Davenport said that the 6-0 point guard received a scholarship offer from Kansas on Sunday night. Arkansas then reportedly followed suit shortly thereafter and Oklahoma made an overture on Monday.
Robinson received the offers after a strong showing at the Midwest Basketball Showcase in Kansas City over the weekend. He now holds 14 offers with Florida, TCU, Illinois, Iowa State, UTEP, Louisiana Tech, and Missouri State being among the schools that have made overtures. Texas A&M, Minnesota, and Virginia Tech have also shown interest in the four-star recruit, though none of those three programs have offered at this point.
The Little Rock (Ark.) native is a fantastic two-way prospect as he scores the ball well and plays suffocating on-ball defense. Robinson is a good athlete who possesses good length. In addition, he is a solid facilitator and can change pace with the best of them while also having the ability to get to the hole.
Robinson is rated as the 90th best prospect in the class by ESPN. Meanwhile, 247Sports has him a little higher at 68 in both their regular and composite rankings. He averaged 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals last season at Bryant High School, who he led to the Arkansas 6A title game.
Robinson plans on taking his official visits sometime in August and September.
