24. Davidson Wildcats

Davidson head coach Bob McKillop is clearly one of the most underrated leaders in the country. He gets the most out of his players every single year and he has a great roster coming back. Most importantly, his two dynamic stars are returning in Kellan Grady and Jon Alex Gudmundsson. These two alone will keep the team near the top of the Atlantic 10 but their supporting cast is going to be substantially better during this coming campaign as a result of player development. The Wildcats are returning 94.8% of their total minutes from last year and the coaching staff should not be overlooked.

Davidson may not play in the toughest conference in America, but they will be one of the most dangerous teams. Grady and JAG make a tremendous duo together and it would be a mistake to think that they will not also have at least one player post a breakout campaign. If that turns out to be the case, Davidson might be miles ahead of the rest of the A-10 while showing the country that they can be extremely dangerous. The Wildcats are talented, well-coached, and experienced.

They will likely be one of the most deadly perimeter shooting teams in the nation and their roster coherence will allow for a hot start to the season. Davidson will not need to enhance team chemistry early in the year as they are running back almost the same group as a year ago. That cohesion should not go overlooked and Coach McKillop has to be excited about this roster.
