7. Malik Hall (Michigan State – PF)

There are some incredible things expected out of Michigan State next season, and Hall could play a role in that excellence. The former high school star in Wichita garnered significant interest, visiting Purdue, Oregon, and Oklahoma before committing to the Spartans last month.

At 6’7, Hall has a solid build for both forward persons and does possess solid athleticism. He has the ability to make shots from all over the basketball court. He works well on the defensive end and showed off talent as a rebounder. There isn’t a particular part of his game that stands out, but he does pretty much everything well. This versatility provides a great tool for the Spartans, giving the team someone who can make long-range shots, dish out assists, and defend players in the interior.

The Spartans are going to be one of the best teams in the nation next season and Hall isn’t expected to come in and immediately dominate on the college level. He’ll play behind studs like Cassius Winston and Xavier Tillman while working on his skillset and frame. Hall could develop into a stud at the next level and was a fantastic addition to Izzo’s latest recruiting class. Look forward to watching Hall play all over the court, perhaps not even just at the forward positions.
