11. Yvan Ouedraogo (Nebraska – PF)

Ouedraogo is a young, talented, and strong international talent from Paris, France. He received interest from Georgia Tech, TCU, and Vanderbilt before committing to the Cornhuskers last month. His commitment helped Fred Hoiberg continue to build a talented in his first season back at the college coaching level.

The French prospect is strong and stands at 6’8. He’s a power forward who could very easily play big minutes at the 5, especially with his strong build. Ouedraogo is a solid shooter from the floor, doing most of his damage inside the paint. He does have the ability to hit outside shots, but look for him to become an impact force inside, grabbing rebounds and put backs. It’ll be interesting to see how he adjust to the collegiate game, but he’s an absolute force around the rim.

Ouedraogo skipped a grade in France and will be one of college basketball’s youngest players next season. Despite this, he has the frame and the build of a tank and will slide into the Cornhuskers’ rotation as their biggest force down low. He’ll likely split time down low with Matej Kavas, who poses a much larger threat as an outside shooter. Either way, the Cornhuskers are lucky to have Ouedraogo and he could develop into a stud at the professional level if the continues to work on his game.
