Jeremiah Robinson-Earl – Villanova Wildcats

PF | 6-foot-8 | 235 lbs | No. 15 overall

Easily one of the top players joining the Big East, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl is ranked as the No. 15 overall prospect in the class and has proven his abilities on several different occasions. He has been a dominant force at the high school level, in AAU events, and at All-American contests. No matter what the situation, JRE has always found a way to impress and many believe that he will be one of the top options for Villanova, a top-10 team in our WTE preseason poll, this season. Already an extremely polished power forward option, JRE projects as a major contributor due to his well-rounded skill set.

On the offensive end of the floor, he uses his athleticism well to attack the basket and finish around the rim. Additionally, his shot form is consistent out to mid-range and the expectation is that he will expand his range out to beyond the arc in the near future. Defensively, he has the ability to be a solid defender due to his athleticism and strength. He is likely confined to defending power forwards but should be quite good in that role. JRE also rebounds well for that position.

Bryan Antoine (No. 16 recruit) is probably the most likely newcomer for Villanova to lead the team in scoring but Robinson-Earl is the highest-rated. Those two will make up a dynamic duo and it hard to overlook how well JRE can impact the game in a number of ways. Since entering the 247Sports Composite database for the 2019 class, JRE has been a steady riser (+34 to this point) and that improvement will likely continue at the college level.

Next. Way-too-early preseason top-25. dark

These players represent the future for many of the Big East basketball programs. As the top commits to each school for this year, it seems likely that they will all develop into key rotation pieces at some point in their respective careers. It will be exciting to watch each of them take the court in just a few more months.
