Demond Robinson – Montgomery, AL

F | 6-foot-8 | 255 lbs | Unranked

Demond Robinson is coming to Murray State via Lee High School. At Lee High School the big body forward was named All-State in the largest class in the state. The most intriguing thing about the 6’8″ product is that he has a 7’5″ wingspan. He is going to be able to use that length and his weight to absolutely bully most of the big men in the OVC.

Leading the way for his team in steals and blocks, Robinson also averaged 15 points and 8 rebounds a game. Robinson is going to be a really good player for Murray State and just due to the fact that he is a monster-sized big man, he should get playing time against smaller OVC teams.

Last season, big man Darnell “Big Nell” Cowart bullied many in the OVC as a 6’8″, 280lb center. However, Big Nell doesn’t quite have the same athleticism or wingspan of Robinson, and it will be interesting if the newcomer is able to take a starting role in his freshman season at Murray State.
