2. He is versatile

Livers is not going to play point guard for the Wolverines next year, but he could probably play every other position. He can match up with the fours and fives of other teams and he can also guard the twos and threes.

Not only can he defend the different positions, but he can also play those spots on offense effectively. He can be a matchup nightmare for big men of the other team, because of his ability to shoot from the outside and to take them off the dribble.

He can also be a menace to the smaller guys as he can work inside and back them down. Either way, he should be a tough matchup for whoever is guarding him. Because of this versatility, he will be a guy that the other teams are going to have to key on and should open up the other guys on the Wolverines offense. If they can contribute that will only open things back up for Livers.

He has shown the ability to run the floor and score in a half court offense. Couple that in with his superb defense and he is a very complete player.

When looking for the POY of the year in the conference they normally look at offensive stats, but Livers has the ability to be a very good player on both sides of the ball and at many positions and for that he could be looked at as the most valuable player.
