Trayce Jackson-Davis – Greenwood, IN

C | 6 – foot – 9 | 230 lbs. | No. 29 Overall

Another in-state recruit, Trayce Jackson-Davis hails from Center Grove High School in Greenwood, IN. Jackson-Davis is listed as a center and at 6’9″ maybe a little undersized. He has a good weight, and with a 7-foot wingspan, he should be able to compete with most bigs in the NCAA. He will more than likely play more like a forward than a center in college.

Winning Gatorade Player of the Year and being named Mr. Indiana Basketball, Jackson-Davis averaged 21.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks a game his senior year. The level of talent he has, he will be the best or second-best player in Bloomington next season. He has experience playing internationally, winning a gold medal with Team USA at the 2018 FIBA Championships in Canada last year. Jackson-Davis is going to have the attention of NBA scouts during his time at Indiana.

Trayce Jackson-Davis is going to start from day one. He is able to handle the ball well for a big guy, he is strong and has room to grow. There is no reason why he won’t succeed at IU given the right opportunities. Hoosier fans are excited about Jackson-Davis and they absolutely should be.
