Terrance Williams – Team Takeover

PF | 6-foot-6 | 215 lbs | No. 82 overall

Team Takeover is usually one of the top programs on the EYBL circuit. Even though the team did not reach the bracket round of Peach Jam, Terrance Williams showed out with strong performances across the first few days. He might not be the most highly-ranked player on his team, but he impacted the game in a number of ways. With his size, versatile scoring, and athleticism, Williams is a dangerous offensive threat with plenty of potential on the defensive end of the floor as well. He is a bit of a combo forward at this point in time but should be a scorer regardless of the situation.

Throughout the Peach Jam event, Williams averaged 16.8 points (.491/.333/.733), 4.8 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game. He was the top performer for Team Takeover on the week and should attract plenty of high-major interest. There is room for development in his game, especially with regards to secondary playmaking, but he can score both inside and out while proving to be a difficult matchup for most defenders. His size and versatile scoring are hard to prepare for.

Williams has received his fair share of high-major scholarship offers already, including those from Stanford, Virginia, and DePaul, among others. Perhaps above all of those, though, many view that he could stay home in the nation’s capital by committing to Georgetown in the coming months. The Hoyas hold all three current Crystal Ball predictions for Williams.
