14. Villanova Wildcats (Big East)

Average recruiting ranking: 29.00

Villanova has easily been one of the most successful programs in the country throughout the past several years. Under the leadership of head coach Jay Wright, the Wildcats have reached the NCAA Tournament in 14 of the last 15 years (missed in 2011-12) and also have won two national championships. There was once a time in which fans believed that Coach Wright could not win in March, but that has changed in a hurry. Villanova is one of the top programs in the entire nation now.

Villanova’s successes have largely been attributed to elite-level player development, but it would be a mistake to overlook the amount of players who arrived on campus with immense skill. Coach Wright has landed his fair share of top-rated prospects and nobody should dispute that. Omari Spellman and Jalen Brunson, two key cogs of a national championship team, were both five-star recruits that are now in the NBA. Additionally, the program is fresh off securing two five-stars in the 2019 class in the forms of Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Bryan Antoine. That 2019 class is the best in program history at No. 4 in the country.

Villanova is one of the best programs in the nation and that is not going to change. Coach Wright is clearly one of the best in the business both on the court and on the recruiting trail. His most recent class, as already references, is tremendous and that is just a sign of what is to come. Villanova is landing five-star prospects with consistency and it is no secret that this coaching staff is excellent when it comes to player development and scheming. The Wildcats will be a top-10 team for years to come.
