18. Washington Huskies (Pac-12)

Average recruiting ranking: 33.00

After making the NCAA Tournament in the first two seasons of the decade, Washington suffered through a seven-year drought before once again making a trip during this past season. That drought led into the Mike Hopkins era of the program and he has seemingly turned the program around in a  hurry. He has accomplished 25 Pac-12 victories in his first two seasons at the helm, which is as many as Lorenzo Romar was able to secure in his last four years with the program combined.

Washington has been fairly consistent with regards to recruiting throughout the 2010’s. The Huskies notched a top-50 class in all but two seasons while constantly snagging elite groups when they had the scholarships available. Their best class, though, came in 2015 as a result of commitments from multiple top-100 prospects, including future NBA players Dejounte Murray and Marquese Chriss. Some of the other top players worth of mentioning from this era include five-star recruits Isaiah Stewart, Markelle Fultz, Jaden McDaniels, and Tony Wroten. The Huskies have seriously brought in some top-of-the-line players.

Washington is fresh off snagging one of the best recruiting classes in program history and it seems as though head coach Mike Hopkins’ squad is starting to emerge as a power in the Pac-12. They have always been a strong recruiting program, but he is finding the right players to fit within his system and they are bound to start collecting wins in the near future. The Huskies are on the verge of a national breakout and that could come as early as the 2019-20 season.
