Jeremy Harris; Guard (Buffalo)

Club: Atomeromu SE (Hungary)

Beginning his career at community college, Jeremy Harris transferred to Buffalo where he spent the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons playing for Head Coach Nate Oats.

Jeremy Harris was extremely effective on offense for Buffalo. He is quick, can move his feet well, has great size, and can manipulate games on his own. He averaged 14.8 ppg in his two seasons with Buffalo. In both seasons, he was named Second-Team All-MAC.

Much of the success of the Bulls revolved around Harris, as well as the other seniors. The Bulls possessed one of the strongest senior classes in the country. Oats was able to accumulate such talent by knowing how to appeal to JUCO transfers.

Guys such as Jeremy Harris are hungry to compete against bigger schools, so Nate Oats took advantage of that. This led Buffalo to an 89-68  obliteration of #4 seed Arizona in the First Round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament. Harris had 23 points that day. In the victory against Arizona State in the First Round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament, Harris put up a solid 21-point performance.

Now, Jeremy Harris’ two year career at Buffalo has flown by quickly, but it has not gone unrewarded. According to the Buffalo Men’s Basketball Twitter, Harris will be playing professional basketball with Atomeromu SE in Hungary, where he will show the team that he can contribute immediately, thanks to his excellent offensive ability.
