Fletcher Magee; Guard (Wofford)

Club: Monbus Obradoiro (Spain)

Yes, the Wofford sharp shooter that made history this past season will be taking his talents to Europe.  Fletcher Magee was extremely influential in crafting the enigma that was the Wofford offense. His unconventional style and ability to fire a shot from anywhere on the court made his game very unpredictable for opposing defenses.

His extreme confidence in putting up a three-point shot is a huge reason that he now holds the NCAA Record for the number of three pointers made in a career. He has also proven to be very quick, having a knack for finding ways in which to get himself open. Additionally, such ability to move and shoot allowed him to take over games, as well as gave the Terriers the opportunity to put games out of reach.

That was the case against Seton Hall in the First Round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament. Sparked by a Fletcher Magee three-point shot with a few minutes to play, the Terriers separated themselves from the Pirates, ultimately winning 84-68. That was the game that allowed Magee to set the record and made the country aware of Wofford’s strong offensive ability.

This Summer, Fletcher Magee was given the opportunity to play in the NBA Summer League with the Milwaukee Bucks. His minutes were limited; however, when called upon, he answered by showing off his ability to successfully put up a three pointer.

According to GoUpstate.com, Fletcher Magee will join Mike Daum with the club Monbus Obradoiro in Spain. Who knows what that will bring, but an incredible duo could become of those two in the Spanish league.
