7) Iowa State – Hilton Coliseum

When your home arena is known for being place where upset victories and huge comebacks are commonplace, you know you have a true home-court advantage.

Iowa State has that in Hilton Coliseum, largely thanks to the imminent onset of “Hilton Magic.”

The arena itself is fantastic. It seats 14,384 fans and Iowa State packs it every night. It creates one of the best atmospheres in college basketball – one that even opponents enjoy playing in, as former Kansas State guard Barry Brown explained.

"“Iowa State is very fun to play in. Their atmosphere is great. The fan base is incredible… they always sell out and their fans are always in tune to the game — there’s never a dull moment when you’re in their arena.”"

Iowa State is an impressive 556-183 in the arena since it opened in 1971 but have been especially dominant lately, going 124-28 over the last nine seasons.
