2) Duke – Cameron Indoor Stadium

There are more signature things about Cameron Indoor Stadium than just about anywhere else in college basketball.

That starts with the most famous student section in the sport in the Cameron Crazies. They’re jumping and chanting and screaming all game long, and the surround the court on all four sides. When an opponent inbounds the ball, everyone in the student reaches their arm out towards the player.

Outside of Cameron, students camp out all season long in Krzyzewskiville (aptly named for legendary head coach Mike Krzyzewski), which is the stretch of lawn outside of the arena, in order to get tickets for games.

Cameron Indoor is small, seating only 9,314 fans, but the smallness of it actually makes it even more difficult to play in. Fans are loud and the arena traps the noise, making it one of the most unique setting in the sport.

That atmosphere has helped Duke form one of the very best home-court advantages in the country. They have won an astonishing 147 consecutive non-conference home games and have gone undefeated in Cameron six times since 2000. In that same time frame, there have only been three seasons in which they lost more than twice at home.

The Blue Devils have one of the most successful programs in all of college basketball, yet their near-invincibility at home is special. Their winning percentage at Cameron is over 30 percent higher than their winning percentage everywhere else.
