Elijah Taylor – Philadelphia, PA

PF | 6-foot-8 | 215 lbs | No. 218 overall

Florida is in the market for a power forward in the 2020 class and Elijah Taylor is definitely an underrated target. Although ranked outside of the top-200, Taylor is extremely well-built and could be ready to contribute from his first college game. He runs the floor well, can function at either major front court spot, and is a bruising force in the paint. Taylor cut his list to six schools in mid-July and included Florida along with Pitt, Seton Hall, Notre Dame, VCU, and Providence. He would be a strong addition to the Gators’ future frontcourt as a result of his size and toughness. He is planning to visit Florida from Sept. 6-8.

Lynn Greer III – Philadelphia, PA

PG | 6-foot-1 | 165 lbs | No. 159 overall

Lynn Greer III struggled a bit over the course of the summer but is still regarded as one of the better point guards in the 2020 class. He understands how to dictate the pace of games, can involve all of his teammates, and is known as a natural-born leader. These are all major skills needed for a collegiate point guard and he could thrive as a primary playmaker alongside several other talented recruits. Florida could offer him that possibility. With regards to his recruitment, Greer is expected to visit Gainesville in early September. The Gators look to be in a strong position as a result and he would fit a potential need right away next season. Coach White is thinking ahead with this recruiting class considering the talents that could leave for the NBA Draft after 2019-20 and therefore landing a point guard could be near the top of his list. Nembhard and Mann might both elect to head to the Draft after this season.
