Josh Gray – Saint James, NY

C | 6-foot-11 | 205 lbs | No. 186 overall

Another big-man target for St. John’s, Josh Gray is relatively highly-regarded. At 6-foot-11, he brings plenty of height to the center spot but will need to add some strength before excelling at the college level. He is, though, an impressive athlete that runs the floor exceptionally well and boasts versatile on both ends. Gray has received an abundance of high-major offers, although his offensive game still has room to improve. In 18 total contests, Gray averaged 3.6 points (63.0% FG), 5.2 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in just 15.0 minutes per game for PSA Cardinals. He also recently mentioned to Colby Giacubeno that Georgia and St. John’s are two programs that are staying in close contact with him. Landing a versatile rim-running big man with a high ceiling would be a great addition for St. John’s. He can be impactful right away and could turn into a star with continued development.

Kadary Richmond – Brooklyn, NY

SF | 6-foot-5 | 175 lbs | No. 163 overall

One of Posh Alexander’s close friends, Kadary Richmond would be an excellent piece of the 2020 puzzle for St. John’s. He is a versatile 6-foot-5 wing prospect who boasts elite-level athleticism and playmaking abilities. Richmond projects as an above-average creator at the college level and he is continuing to improve as a scorer. His combination of athleticism and size also make him a potentially dynamic defender. With regards to his recruitment, Richmond recently trimmed his list to Oregon, Seton Hall, UConn, and St. John’s. The Huskies have been trending as the favorite to land Richmond in recent weeks but it will be interesting to see if Alexander’s commitment plays a role in this battle. Richmond is another local product that could help build Coach Anderson’s pipeline in the Empire State.
