14. LSU Tigers

LSU is a program on the rise. Even though the Tigers have struggled a bit on the court over the 21st century, head coach Will Wade is turning the ship around. The program is clearly starting to experience more success on the court as their recruiting victories are paying dividends. LSU landed the No. 4 overall recruiting class in 2018 and it has to be noted that Coach Wade is emerging as a star on the trail. Even though he is just 36-years-old, the young coach has been superb with landing top-tier talents to this point in his career and that is bound to continue, especially with the number of resources available to him at LSU.

Much like Ohio State, the Tigers are widely-regarded as a football school but that could change in the coming years. Coach Wade has this basketball program trending in the right direction and he is someone that all coaches should fear on the recruiting trail. Regardless of when LSU joins a recruiting battle, they are always a dangerous program even if they are not the most dominant force in their own conference. Nobody should be taking LSU basketball lightly anymore, especially not after taking their elite 2018 recruiting class and landing a No. 3 seed as a result.

Coach Wade is not only a dangerous threat on the recruiting trail because of his relationship building but also has proven that he can succeed with top-rated players. He is more than just a top recruiter as he is quite solid on the sidelines as well. LSU is a budding SEC program with high hopes for the future. Watch out for the Tigers to land another top-10 recruiting class in the near future; it is bound to happen with Coach Wade at the helm.
