14. Mississippi College (Exhibition, Nov. 4)

The game against Mississippi College of Division 2 is only an exhibition game but will reveal how deep the Rebels truly are. I expect to see everyone get good minutes in this one, so Rebels fans will get a good glimpse of the newcomers.

13. Tennessee Tech (Dec. 29)

2018-19 Record: 8-23

Conference: Ohio Valley

The Golden Eagles are another early-season opportunity for the Rebels to showcase talent and depth. In 2018-19, they finished dead last in the Ohio Valley. They were very young last year, so things will look up for them now that they have more experience. True Freshman Guards Jr. Clay and Hunter Vick averaged 14.4 ppg and 11.2 ppg respectively. This duo may be a threat, but I have the Rebels winning big.

12. Western Michigan (Nov. 15)

2018-19 Record: 8-24

Conference: Mid-American

For the Rebels, Western Michigan is a rematch from last year’s non-conference schedule. The Rebels picked up a convincing 90-64 win in that meeting. The Broncos went on to win only eight games and finished last in the MAC. They also lost their leading scorer in Center Seth Dugan. If last year was bad, this year may be just as bad, if not worse. The Rebels will gain another convincing win against Western Michigan.

11. Middle Tennessee (Dec. 14)

2018-19 Record: 11-21

Conference: Conference USA

Ole Miss Head Coach Kermit Davis’ former team did not do well last year in their first season after his departure. Finishing toward the bottom of Conference USA last season, things will not look up too much this season for the Blue Raiders. They are outmatched against Ole Miss.
