Non-Conference Games

Nov 27th Syracuse (NIT Season Tip-Off)

Nov 29th Penn State/Ole Miss (NIT Season Tip-Off)

Dec 4th Georgetown

Dec 8th Wichita State

Dec 15th @ Houston

Dec 21st vs Minnesota

Jan 25th @ Texas A&M

This may be the one downfall for Oklahoma State this year. Quite a few tough ones on the schedule against a lot of teams vying for tournament bids. Jim Boeheim and the Orange in New York to open the NIT Season Tip-Off is certainly not ideal. Oklahoma State played Minnesota and Houston last year and fell in both of those games, they’ll look to avenge both of those losses in the return games of the home and home series. Plenty of opportunities for quality wins and if the Cowboys want any chance of making the tournament they’re going to need to prove it early in the year.

Conference Games

Oklahoma State will play a standard Big 12 schedule this year, they’ll play everyone twice, one home and one away. Coming off only five wins in conference play this is an area where Oklahoma State desperately needs to improve. Oklahoma State was swept by Iowa State, Oklahoma, Kansas, Kansas State, and Texas Tech last season. After only winning two road games all of last year Oklahoma State has to go in and win in those hostile environments. Oklahoma State will likely need to win at least nine or ten conference games to have a shot at basketball in March.
