Class of 2017

#18: Nick Richards, Kentucky

The junior big man only averaged four ppg last season and should play a bigger role for this year’s Kentucky team. Nate Sestina and EJ Montgomery will swallow his minutes if he’s not productive.

#24: Emmanuel Akot, Boise State

The former Arizona Wildcat transferred to Boise State following an uneventful two years in Tucson. Akot averaged 3.8 ppg last year and will sit out this season per NCAA transfer rules.

#26: Quade Green, Washington

The former Kentucky Wildcat will be eligible for Washington in January. Green shot 42% from three as a sophomore but was never able to separate himself in a crowded Kentucky backcourt.  With the addition of Green and a talented freshmen class, look for Washington to compete for a Pac 12 title.

#27: Malik Williams, Louisville

Williams recently suffered a foot injury, which will keep him out 6-8 weeks. When he returns, he’ll be an important cog in the middle for the Cardinals. Williams averaged 7 ppg and 6 rpg last season.

#28: M.J. Walker, Florida State

The junior small forward averaged 7.5 ppg for the Seminoles and started all but one game last season. A former McDonald’s All-American, Walker is a versatile athlete, who will look to take a major leap this year for coach Leonard Hamilton.
