Creighton will have the ability to come at you in waves

The Bluejays began their summer in Australia and their starting center should be the Australian native Epperson and he will likely be surrounded by four perimeter players. Alexander and Zegarowski, who was a bit of a breakout star last season after being inserted into the starting line up halfway through the season, averaging 10 points, three rebounds, and three assists, but it is his vision and creativity in running the offense that has cemented his starting spot. Mintz and Ballock should be the two players that fill out the starting five.

The bench is going to be loaded with wing players who give McDermott a boatload of interchangeable parts. The frontcourt depth was an issue for the Bluejays last season, while the depth is still a little thin, the quality of bigs behind Epperson should be improved. Both Jones and an improved Bishop should open things up even more for the perimeter players.

Mahoney, Mitchell and junior Damien Jefferson should eat up a large portion of the perimeter bench minutes, but they will likely be playing alongside Alexander, Ballock or Zegarowski, as one of those three are likely to be on the floor at all times for Creighton. While the amount of depth on the roster may be the same as last season, but the quality should be much improved.
