LSU Basketball: 2019-20 season preview for the Tigers
Key reserves
Darius Days
There’s a chance Darius Days will slide into some starter minutes as he competes with Watford and Williams in the frontcourt. The Gainesville native averaged 5.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game off the bench. He also demonstrated a decent amount of pop from the perimeter, drilling 38.2 percent of his 3-point shots.
Marshall Graves
Marshall Graves has never been more of a benchwarmer for the Tigers. He has played an integral part in the chemistry of the team, however, and was awarded the scholarship the late Wayde SIms once held. Expect him to take on a larger role for his senior campaign.
Courtese Cooper
Courtese Cooper is an athletic forward ready to provide any needed energy boost off the bench. The 20-year old redshirted last season and played at the junior college level the year before, where he won a Division II junior title while averaging 10.1 points and 2.9 blocks per game.
Charles Manning, Jr.
Another JUCO transfer, Charles Manning, Jr. arrives without having received any offers from other power conference schools. LSU should be thrilled about that, as the shooting guard could very well prove to be a hidden gem; he earned NJCAA All-American honors following the 2018-19 season.
