Non-conference was a real struggle for Oral Roberts last year, and it looks like that may hold true this year as well. It’s tough to see them reaching January without six losses or so, but even that would be an improvement from a year ago. And most importantly, the non-con slate should be more than adequate preparation for the Summit League.

The Summit League is wide open this year. That being said, if the Golden Eagles can win all but one or two home conference games, they’ll be in a position to finish near the top of the standings. To get over the hump, they’ll need to steal a couple on the road in some tough environments, particularly against Omaha and the schools in the Dakotas.
