Pac-12 Basketball: Top 15 returning players for 2019-20 season
By Joe Chambers
#6: McKinley Wright IV – Colorado
The junior Wright IV averaged 13 ppg last year. He shot around 50% from the field and is someone you want to know where he is at all times. He can run the floor and pass the ball at a high rate. You might not want to send him to the free throw line either as he shot 80% last year from the line. If he can get to the rim, you’re going to want to try and contest the shot.
#5: Payton Pritchard – Oregon
Pritchard was named the Pac-12 Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player. After putting on a wonderful display in the Pac-12 tournament, he averaged around 13 ppg, 4.5 assists per game, shot 41.8% from the field, and also shot 83% from the free throw line. Pritchard is a playmaker and a scrappy player who gets on the floor. Might be the key player in order for the Ducks to get back atop the standings in the Pac-12.
#4: Remy Martin – Arizona State
The junior is looking to have a breakout year this upcoming season. He only averaged 13 ppg last year. He shot 31% from 3 last year, so really, it’s only uphill for Remy Martin. The Sun Devils will most likely be giving him increased minutes this year so Martin will have to produce. I can see him being a top level scorer for Arizona State and really being the key to their success.
