#3: CJ Elleby – Washington State

The Cougar returns for his sophomore year. Elleby averaged 14.7 ppg and 7.1 rpg. The 6’6 forward will look to have a bigger role this upcoming season. He was named to the PAC-12 All-Freshmen Team last year, the first time for a Cougar since 2010, Elleby is due for another big year.

#2: Nick Rakocevic – USC

The big man from USC looks to put even better big numbers his senior season. Rakocevic put up 14.7 ppg, grabbed 9.3 rpg, shot 54.8% from the field, and shot 67.9% from the free throw line. The Trojans got some big-name freshmen coming in, but expect to see the big men get some feeds down low in the post.

#1: Tres Tinkle – Oregon State

One of the few Pac-12 players to average more than 20 ppg last year. Tres also grabbed around eight rpg and dished the ball well at 3.1 apg. He’s my pick for Pac-12 Player of the Year and I can see him getting more help from Ethan Thompson as well this upcoming year. Dynamic forward who will gain lots of attention with his outstanding play. Tinkle shoots the ball well too so look out Pac-12.
