Nik Popovic: Forward, 6’11, 253 lbs, Senior

Popovic is going to be the main leader for the Eagles squad. The senior is the tallest player on the team and was 2nd on the team with 23 blocks behind Steffon Mitchell’s 32. Look for Popovic to be an elite defender this season as well as a post-scorer. Popovic has the potential to be one of the best forwards in the ACC, what it will come down to will be whether or not He can grab boards and score points and make opponents frustrated.

Jairus Hamilton: Forward, 6’8, 234 lbs, Sophomore

Jairus Hamilton had himself a decent freshman year, scoring just below 6 ppg with 5.6 and 4 rpg. He played in 30 games while starting 8 of them. Hamilton shot 40.1% from the field for the Eagles. He was decent from the free throw line with 64.4% and shot 29.9% from 3. Hamilton’s game will need a lot of improvement but expect the sophomore to put in the work and make it possible for the Eagles to succeed early on.
