NCAA Basketball: Top major conference future bets for 2019-20 season
By Ben Cary
Florida 8/2 (to win the SEC)
The Gators return several players from this past season and are loaded with talent. Players such as Andrew Nembhard and Noah Locke will be two names that you’ll be hearing a lot of once the season gets underway.
They also snagged Virginia Tech transfer, Kerry Blackshear Jr., who will play a big role this season and will start at forward. Not to mention, the Gators secured the No. 8 overall 2019 recruiting class in the nation highlighted by five-star recruit Tre Mann.
The only team ranked over Florida for the conference future bets out of the SEC with lower odds is Kentucky at +225 or (9/4). The Wildcats are always a popular pick with John Calipari at head coach and top recruiting classes coming in year after year. This is a season were Florida will outlast Kentucky for the SEC crown and make a run in the NCAA Tournament.
Another team to consider for the top conference future bets out of the ACC is LSU Tigers at 7/1 and they are showing great value here. Auburn did come out victorious in this conference last season, but at 8/1, there is little value present.
