Key #3 – Omer Yurtseven

Omer Yurtseven can easily be a walking double-double every game. He grabbed 15 rebounds in the game against Central Arkansas and grabbed 10+ in the game against Mount St. Mary’s. Omer is a brick wall and is strong so when he has his back-to-the-basket, he can get to the rim. If he is not at the rim, he can shoot as well. Yurtseven is lengthy and can be a huge problem for the Nittany Lions.

They need to know where he is at all times. If he can’t get open in the post, then he needs to move or either run to the 3 and try and get open. Omer may not be the fastest guy on the court, but he can definitely run the floor and get the team into a groove.

If Yurtseven can start hitting shots early on, then Penn State will be in some trouble. Omer has been their best player in the year so far and the Hoyas will need to rely on Yurtseven to help them get some key points.
