Pro Comp: Kyle Lowry

With a bulldog mentality, reliable jumper, and a desire to win Anthony compares to the Raptors star.

Come June, if Cole Anthony does decide to enter the draft, his name should likely be one of the first five announced. His combination of scoring, athleticism, and mentality all at just 19 years old should be too much for NBA Front Offices to pass on.

Anthony is not and may never be the defender that Lowry is, but if he puts in the work he has the skills to there. Lowry has developed himself into a three-point marksman (something Anthony projects to be from day one), is a solid distributor, and despite his small stature he’s learned to use his body and angles to finish inside.

Anthony can check those first two boxes off his list, and his ability to finish in the paint should only improve going forward. His attitude and effort are reminiscent of Lowry and something teams should love to see in the pre-draft process.

Whatever team lands Anthony in the draft is getting a bulldog of a player with the chance to develop into a special talent on the offensive end of the floor.
