Wisconsin had looked bad lately and then put on a shooting clinic against Indiana in their 84-64 win. They led by as many as 30 in the game and looked like a team that could compete with the top of the Big Ten this year.

But one game is not enough to convince us that they are a good team yet. If they can continue to do this over the next few weeks when they play at Tennessee and Ohio State. WIn those games and they will jump up the rankings.

The reason they still sit down at the ten spots is before they looked great against Indiana they had lost three straight games to Richmond, New Mexico, and NC State. None of which would be considered good losses. They aren’t horrible teams, but teams the Badgers should beat. It finished off a very disappointing Legends Classic for Wisconsin.

We talked about Rutgers not scoring a lot this year, well the Badgers are averaging even less. They score about 68 points a game and try to win it with their defense. They have struggled without Ethan Happ. Over the last four years, Happ has been able to bail out the Badgers when they were struggling as he was one of the best scorers in the Big Ten.

Without that, the Badgers have yet to find their rhythm until the played the Hoosiers. The Wisconsin fans hope it is a sign of things to come and not a one night flash in the pan. Keep playing this way and they will secure their spot in the top half of the Big Ten.
