Kansas continues to roll as one of the best teams in the entire country and warrants a No. 1 seed once again in this edition of bracketology. The Jayhawks have rattled off nine consecutive wins since dropping their season-opener to Duke and are looking the part of a national title contender. Devon Dotson + Udoka Azubuike is the elite duo leading the way as many expected while Ochai Agbaji is taking his sophomore leap as the tertiary option on the team. A pair of very difficult road tests are next on the schedule against Villanova and Stanford, though.

Moving further down the region, Wichita State finally picked up a pair of solid wins for its resume over the past couple of weeks. After starting the season at 7-1 without any quality wins, the Shockers recently defended their home-court against Oklahoma State and Oklahoma. From an individual contributor standpoint, sophomore Erik Stevenson has been the star for the team so far this season. He is averaging 13.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game to lead the way offensively for this defensive-minded club. After missing the NCAA Tournament a year ago, it appears as though head coach Gregg Marshall is ready to get back to dancing.

Speaking of teams that have turned on the jets recently, Northern Iowa is looking more and more like a potential at-large team with every week. The Panthers sit at 10-1 for the year and boast a true road win over Colorado. They were still awarded the automatic bid from the Missouri Valley for this particular bracketology but they are building a record/resume worthy of at-large consideration if they need it.
