No. 10 Phoenix Suns – Theo Maledon, French Guard

For the first time in a long time, the Suns look competent and they can continue to build with French guard Theo Maledon.

The Phoenix Suns are no strangers when it comes to selecting in the lottery, but for the first time in quite a while it looks as though the Suns may be close to turning the corner.

Theo Maledon is quietly one of the better guard prospects available in the draft. At six-foot-five, Maledon combines quality size with fluid athleticism.

Right now, the only obvious holes in Maledon’s game are the fact that he is young and still needs to fill out his frame. Ricky Rubio would be a tremendous mentor for the youngster, and he knows a thing or two about successfully transitioning from overseas to the NBA.

The Suns can continue to stockpile their assets with the addition of Maledon to their team if they choose to go in that direction.
