Butler Basketball: All-Decade Team for the Dawgs of the 2010s
Andrew Chrabascz (2014-2017)
An incredibly consistent and versatile contributor, Andrew Chrabascz was a full-time starter for three years and played his entire career as a member of the Big East. One of the early pieces that helped the team succeed in the power conference league by Year 2, Chrabascz was a 6-foot-7 forward with the ability to impact the game as a scorer as well as a playmaker. He was an intelligent driver and had his set of go-to moves that were very difficult to stop.
Chrabascz started over 100 games in his career and was a double-digit per game scorer in each of his final three years with the team. He improved with every single season and was at his best as a senior. During that campaign, Chrabascz posted 11.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game while helping guide Butler to one of its best regular-season seasons ever. The Dawgs received a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament and reached the Sweet 16. He was named to the All-Big East First Team.
Khyle Marshall (2011-2014)
Another player that competed in three different conferences during his Butler career, Khyle Marshall was a solid four-year contributor. An athletic 6-foot-6 forward that played with a ton of energy while on the court, Marshall was a reliable finisher at the rim and a solid all-around defender.
He averaged over 20 minutes per game for his career with the program and experienced his best individual season as a senior. Even though Butler struggled as a team in 2013-14, Marshall was a bright spot by posting averages of 14.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
With that said, though, he will mostly be remembered for his contributions as a freshman. Marshall, as a first-year player, averaged 7.3 points and 7.3 rebounds in 20.3 minutes per game from the second-round through the Final Four of the 2011 NCAA Tournament.
