12. Jake Toolson – BYU

2019-20 stats: 14.7 ppg 5.1 rpg 4.2 apg

After winning the 2018-19 WAC Player of the Year Award, Toolson followed his head coach to BYU as a grad transfer, a place he was at when he was a freshman. The 6’5 guard has grown immensely since his first time at Provo, ranking second on the team in all three main categories. He has four games of at least 20+ points and helped the Cougars survive the nine-game suspensions of star player Yoeli Childs. With him back, look for Toolson to have an even bigger impact with less attention on to him.

11. Jalen Harris – Nevada

2019-20 stats: 17.2 ppg 6.9 rpg 4.0 apg

One of a few players who elected to stay at Nevada after the coaching change, the Louisiana Tech transfer has enjoyed the green light as the team’s go-to player. He leads the Wolf Pack in all three main categories and nearly posted a triple-double against Santa Clara. Harris will have to be a bit more efficient from the field in Mountain West play but is a legit contender for Conference Player of the Year if the team has a high finish.

10. Bryson Williams – UTEP

2019-20 stats: 19.3 ppg 6.3 rpg 0.8 apg

With so many transfers coming to UTEP this offseason, there was no telling how things would work on in terms of roles. But it’s clear who the top guy is, with the former Fresno State big man leading the team in both scoring and rebounding. Williams already has a pair of 33-point games and with Charles Bassey out for the season at Western Kentucky, the Miners will have e best frontcourt player in Conference USA the rest of the way.
