4. Are the Indiana Hoosiers an NCAA Tournament team?

Mauro

Indiana is a hard team to figure out. They look at points to be one of the more dominant teams in the league. They have lapses at points in games where they let teams back into the game. They are winning this year which they were not last year. I still think they are an NCAA tournament team. They have the wins right now and no bad losses. They also will have tremendous opportunities in the conference to rack up big wins. Avoid the bad losses and they are in.

Brown

I think they can be, but I’d have to see how they play in the conference to truly get a sense of that. At 11-1, they’re balling no doubt but it’s still too early to tell for me.

Chambers

Indiana Hoosiers are not an NCAA Tournament team. Archie Miller will most likely see the tournament in a few years.

Kay

Yes, and there is little doubt or uncertainty that Indiana will make the NCAA Tournament. They have built an impressive non-conference resume with wins on neutral courts against Notre Dame and Connecticut. They also defeated Florida State by 16 on their home court and they only have one loss on the season. Yes, their one loss was 20 point defeat on the road against Wisconsin but the Hoosiers have also shown that they can avoid upsets at they beat Nebraska in overtime. Indiana may be a #8 or #9 seed in the NCAA tournament but they are very likely to get a big to the NCAA Tournament this season.

Childs

The Hoosiers are definitely a tournament team. They are going to benefit from the Big Ten being so deep this year. They haven’t been ranked because their non-conference schedule in November was atrocious. But they have picked up big wins against Florida State and showed toughness against Notre Dame. They should finish at least .500 in the Big Ten and that will be enough to get them to the tournament.
