2. Get the ball to their “Big 3”

Alabama has a clear cut big three this season with John Petty jr. averaging 16.7 points per game, Kira Lewis averaging 16.2 and Jaden Shackelford averaging 12.1. These three are Alabama’s only players who average double-digit points per game.

In only one of Alabama’s seven losses have all three of these players put up double-digit points and had it not been for that game going to double overtime, that might not have been the case.

What this goes to show you is that in order for Alabama to be successful, they need all three of these players to show out and put up big numbers.

Each of these three has scored 10 points or more in the same game in six of Alabama’s eight wins which tells you that each of these three showing up together is very, very important if Alabama wants to be successful.

The question is, will it be possible against an Auburn team who gives up an average of only 66.27 points per game?

Auburn’s three top scorers also happen to be two guards and a forward which is exactly the case with Alabama, which will make for a very interesting matchup in the backcourt.

These three combined have an average field goal percentage of 42.73, which compared to Alabama’s 43.9% as a team, is pretty standard.

These three are a HUGE part of Alabama’s offensive scheme and if the three of them aren’t all in double-figures on Wednesday there is a good chance Alabama will not be the first team to beat the Auburn Tigers.
