Gonzaga Bulldogs – Buy

Gonzaga has a history over the last 20 years that most programs would do anything for. The only think lacking is a National Championship. The Bulldogs are currently the top-ranked team in the nation and after a rocky couple of halves in their opening conference games, they have righted the ship. Gonzaga is going to be the one team on this list that is going to come with the most criticism. The facts are Gonzaga is 100% a National Championship contender, regardless of what conference they play in.

In an earlier article on Gonzaga, it was mentioned that the Bulldogs haven’t lost in the first round in almost 15 years and are the only team to make the second weekend four years in a row. They have also played in one of the better National Championship games in the last five years. Two seasons ago they lost a close game to North Carolina.

This year is no different than the past 20, the Bulldogs are one of the best teams in the country. Now that they are fully healthy they are one of the deeper title contenders as well. Ryan Woolridge a grad transfer from North Texas has stabilized the offense and is a tremendous shooter. Wooldridge came to Gonzaga as a scorer but with the Bulldogs he can be the primary distributor to set up their offense for players like Texas A&M transfer Admon Gilder, as well as Corey Kispert and Killian Tillie.

With Gonzaga healthy and their depth especially in the front court with Tillie, Petrusev and Timme the team can win a title. If the last few seasons have taught, you anything it is Gonzaga can win in the tournament and will probably make the second weekend yet again. If they can get to the final four, which I believe they will anything is possible.
