Devon Dotson missed Kansas’ last game with a hip injury he suffered in Saturday’s loss to Baylor and, while it’s not clear how it will affect him moving forward, it isn’t expected to keep him out much longer.
If Dotson misses more games, he’ll obviously drop further down the list. We will chalk this up as a lost week for the sophomore – he did have nine points and three assists in the first half against the Bears before getting injured. When healthy, he’s obviously one of the best players in the nation, yet his ability to be 100 percent himself in the immediate future is in question.

Louisville’s best player showed why again this week, playing well while guiding the Cardinals to road victories over Notre Dame and Pitt. Both games were uncomfortably close for Louisville, yet they made the plays they needed to late in both contests, particularly on the defensive end.
That is the area where Jordan Nwora has improved the most since last season, and even since the start of November, and head coach Chris Mack credited his star player for preserving the victory over the Fighting Irish after the game.
"“He singlehandedly guarded every ball handler in that last possession. To be able to keep guards, Prentiss Hubb and Gibbs, out of the lane – Jordan’s 6-7, 6-8, and to keep them from getting in the lane and penetrating and not putting our team in a tough situation … I thought his defense was excellent on the ball.”"
Nwora’s offense has been fine – he scored 20 against Notre Dame and 14 against Pitt – but that defense is keeping him in the top seven. He’ll have a chance to make a major statement on Saturday when Louisville takes on Duke.
