9. Kansas State Wildcats

Record: 9-12, 2-6 Conference

There really were not a ton of expectations for the Kansas State Wildcats heading into the season, considering that they were losing a pair of the most accomplished seniors in program history.

However, what transpired in the month of January was both disappointing and disheartening.

The Wildcats lost their first-four conference games of the year, before upsetting West Virginia by 16 at home. The attention received for that win was short-lived, as the Wildcats found themselves in the national spotlight for all the wrong reasons just three days later.

The Wildcats got in a massive brawl at the end of a blowout loss to Kansas, a brawl that saw a great deal of pushing, shoving, and generally unsportsmanlike behavior.

Since then, they have lost two of three, and with Baylor coming up next, there is little hope for the Wildcats. Last season was great, but this season, as expected, as been a massive disappointment.

The Wildcats have quite a bit of work to do in order to prevent that brawl in Lawrence from being the biggest and most memorable moment of their season.
